  Hillside was such an incredible answer to prayer!! 3 years ago when I first walked through the door and met genuinely open and friendly folks, it felt like coming home. The woship puts me on my knees with honor and praise to our Almighty God. Why do I recommend it the most though? Everything else aside...it's becuase every word preached is filled with God's Holy Word and His saving passion though Jesus to redeem and restore all mankind.

  I just moved here from Eugene several days ago, and have been looking for a good, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled church where I felt like I was at home. The task was daunting, as it seems like the Gospel is being watered down everywhere you look. Up till Saturday night, I thought I was going to visit a church closer to my home neighborhood, but wound up scoping Google Maps for Vineyard churches just to be sure. On the map I came upon HCF, and since it's right on the busline, thought I might give it a shot. I phoned the telephone number listed on Google thinking I'd get a recording, which would give me some info on service times and whatnot. Instead, a very nice perishner answered (on a SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!), and we had a terriffic conversation. It was then I knew I had to give this place a shot! This morning, after a long bus ride from my house, I was NOT disappointed. I was met with open arms by some very AWESOME people. I really felt at home here. The church meets in a school gymnasium, which makes for a very informal, unestablished (although they are VERY established in the Bible!) atmosphere. I will be attending again, and this may very well wind up being my church home, we'll see. The bus ride is long, but no bus ride is too long if you're in the church body you belong!

  I have been attending Hillside for about six months now and have to say that I love the warmth of the people that attend. I am excited about the growth and look forward to the future. Come check out the service on Sunday starting at 9:30am.
